The service
Codicis is a web application for writing and worldbuilding, offered as a subscription with a free trial. We may change or discontinue features, and will tell you in advance when a change affects your work.
Your content
What you write is yours. You keep every right to it. You grant us only what is needed to store it, display it to you and export it for you.
Your account
One person per account. Keep your password safe and tell us if you think it has been compromised.
Payment and cancellation
Plans are billed monthly in US dollars by Paddle, our Merchant of Record; the charge appears as Paddle on your statement. Cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the period you paid for, then the account becomes read-only with export available. Refunds follow our refund policy.
Acceptable use
Do not use Codicis to store unlawful content or to attack the service. We may suspend accounts that do.
Liability
We work hard to never lose your work and keep daily backups, but the service is provided as is, and our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the last twelve months.
