What we collect
Your name, email address and password (hashed), your interface preferences, and what you create in Codicis: projects, manuscripts, entries, images. We collect nothing about you from third parties.
Your writing is not used to train AI
Your manuscript, your entries and everything else you write in Codicis are never used to train, fine-tune or evaluate any machine-learning model — ours or anyone else’s. We do not sell, license or share your content. Nobody at Codicis reads your work except to fix a problem you asked us to fix, and only with your permission.
Where it is stored
On servers in the United States, encrypted in transit and at rest. Daily backups are kept for the period of your plan.
Payments
Payments are processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record, which handles taxes and invoices. We do not store card numbers.
Cookies
Only what is needed to keep you logged in and remember your preferences. No advertising trackers.
Your rights
Export your whole project at any time from inside the app. Delete your account from the settings page: your data is removed permanently. For anything else, write to us.
